Election results and what’s next
Election results were announced on October 21, and I - Kyle Pred - was elected mayor of Blaine County, by you - the people. But this is not the time for celebration. It’s time to buckle down, and get shit done. I’m working on building up a team that can build a real foundation for Blaine County. Here’s what you can expect in the coming days and weeks:
Righting wrongs: My team and I have already started the process of revising the legislation of the previous administration, and righting wrongs. We’re working to repeal unconstitutional legislation that was passed, and giving power back to the people. #repealtheswamp
Building the team: I’m working to fill positions on my staff with experts who know more than me. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think I know everything about everything… but I do know a lot. I am working to build a cabinet that knows the stuff that I don’t know.
Accountability: The gravy train is dead. The days of sucking the teet of the Blaine County budget is over. I’m reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of all publicly funded services of Blaine County and will be implementing changes to ensure those services are being delivered properly and effectively.
Team Pred extends our thanks to those that ran for the Blaine County mayorship, and applaud them on their no-campaigning campaign strategy. We appreciate your lack of visibility and commitment throughout the campaign phase.
We also congratulate the victors of the Judicial Elections, SAMA Election, and Los Santos County Mayoral elections and look forward to collaborating with all of you.
Lastly, we extend condolences to Jack Bates - the campaign manager of the Pred4Mayor campaign, who gave his life to the cause. Jack Bates was British, and because of that, people trusted him. Thank you for your service, and sacrifice.
